Meals4Kids Meal Pack

ENGAGE 50-500 Volunteers

PACK UP TO 10,000 Meals

SUPPORT UP TO 15 Local Schools

GREAT FOR High impact, Team building

According to the Atlanta Community Food Bank, 1 out of 7 children live in a food insecure household, meaning they don’t know there their next meal will come from.

The Meals4Kids program aims to ensure that the students in Hands On Atlanta’s tutorial and enrichment programs don’t go hungry on the weekends. Meals4Kids serves students who qualify for free/reduced lunch and participate in Hands On Atlanta’s school-based programs, and their siblings. Volunteers will assemble bags of kid friendly nutritious items, like spaghetti noodles, tomato sauce, canned vegetables or fruit, tuna, granola bars, juice boxes, crackers, apple sauce.
