The Home Depot Foundation works to improve the homes and lives of ​U.S. veterans, support communities impacted by natural disasters and train skilled tradespeople to fill the labor gap. Since 2011, the Foundation has invested more than $400 million in veteran causes and improved more than 50,000 veteran homes and facilities. The Foundation has pledged to invest half of a billion dollars in veteran causes by 2025 and $50 million in training the next generation of skilled tradespeople through the Path to Pro program.

On Thursday, Jan. 12 from 9:30am - 12:30pm volunteers will rally at Ebenezer Baptist Church to breakdown pack hygiene kits and snacks, and pack individual bags with notes of encouragement, and more.

WINTERIZE AN URBAN GARDEN

On Monday, Jan. 16 from 9:30am - 12:30pm, volunteers will help Truly Living Well protect the land over winter by pruning, clearing and spreading mulch, clearing large areas of kudzu and more.

DELIVER HOPE FROM HOME

Now through Jan. 21, volunteers will pack hygiene kits or snack bags from home! Upon registration, you’ll receive a link with project directions, a supplies list, and downloadable digital stationary will be provided.
