The High Five Party

National High Five Day (third Thursday in April) is the perfect way to lean in and recognize the incredible work of our top volunteers at our High Five Party!

Part fundraiser, part volunteer recognition and part activation, the High Five Party falls within Global Volunteer Month (April) and National Volunteer Week. There are so many meaningful events and people making impact to celebrate and this party is the one to do it!

From service trailblazers like Michelle Nunn and Bill Bolling to Mayor Shirley Franklin, Ann Cramer, and so many others, our work exists because of individuals who embody the example of the saying, “it takes a village.” Now, with over 1,000,000 lifetime volunteers, celebrating volunteering and service is the perfect way to highlight your commitment to Atlanta.

MLK Days of Service

For more than 30 years, Hands On Atlanta has mobilized the community to take MLK Day on, honoring the life and legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. We will feature 100+ meaningful volunteer opportunities to help make his dream of the “beloved community” a reality.

In addition to the “day on” we also host one of Atlanta’s most anticipated social good events of the year, the MLK Sunday Supper. Now in it’s 11th year, this important evening will convene Atlanta leaders for an impactful program, followed by intimate and vulnerable table conversation facilicated by an Atlanta change maker.
